In the immediate lead-up to the inaugural staging of the TenTastic Theatre Festival, the festival team made a special media appearance on CVM at Sunrise on May 28, 2025.
Representing the festival was Co-Founder and Co-Festival Director Nadine Rawlins, who joined the hosts in studio to discuss the vision behind TenTastic and what audiences could expect from the festival’s first staging.
The interview gave viewers an introduction to the concept of TenTastic, a celebration of bold, high-energy 10-minute theatrical productions designed to showcase the creativity and storytelling talent within Jamaica’s theatre community. It also served as an invitation for audiences to attend the festival’s debut weekend.
The inaugural staging of TenTastic took place at the Philip Sherlock Centre for the Creative Arts at the University of the West Indies on May 31 and June 1, 2025.
The appearance on CVM at Sunrise helped build early excitement and awareness for the festival, connecting the TenTastic team with a national television audience just days before the curtain rose on its first season.
